CDCA implements comprehensive programs specifically designed to transform the social and economic position of women. The organization offers structured non-formal education that addresses fundamental literacy gaps resulting from educational exclusion, creating foundational skills that open multiple life pathways. Beyond basic education, CDCA provides specialized vocational training in tailoring and garment production, equipping women with marketable skills that match local economic opportunities and cultural contexts. The impact pathways are multidimensional: economically, women transition from economic dependency to becoming significant household income contributors; socially, women develop peer support networks during training that continue as business collaborations and emotional support systems; and psychologically, participants experience substantial improvements in self-efficacy and decision-making confidence that extends to other aspects of family and community life.
The project was operated with the support of SAMSAL-Korea, under the coordination and training leadership of Ms. Chanda Thapa. The program consistently provided a minimum of thirty trainees annually.
