Awareness/Psycho- counseling program
It seems to work lot to bring change in negative perception prevailing in our community among people on disabilities. People still have a belief that it is a kind of sin committed in previous birth. In fact, the occurrence of disabilities are due to the environmental, heredity and carelessness which need to be carried out in front of public. Focusing on it, CDCA has been conducting awareness raising program on “Alleviating Birth Defect Disabilities” and “Preventing it through First Aid tools”. This campaign has been started from Kapan and is in the process to expand in other places. As such advocacy, campaign are likely to raise awareness among the targeted group of people, so it is giving much attention to these things. Even to sensitize people on relevant issue it has been organizing different awareness activities for the community. For the prevention of disabilities it also conducts first aid training program.
